Yellow Rose directed by Diane Paragas, follows a Filipina teenager played by Eve Noblezada, from a small Texas town as she pursues her dream of becoming a country music singer while facing an impossible choice between her family and the only home she has ever known.
Programmed as part of Balik Bayan, a month-long reflection on Filipino stories, identity, and community.
The film is also part of our Supersize programme, supported by the BFI through National Lottery funding, we're partnering with Move Midlands, Voice ESEA and ESEA Creatives to bring the film to audiences across four UK cities:
