Leonor Will Never Die is a sweet film from the imagination of independent Filipino filmmaker, Martika Ramirez Escobar. Self-funded & powered by her dreams, this playful tribute to filmmakers was awarded the Special Jury Prize for Innovative Spirit at Sundance & screened at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Thanks to our friends, Conic, we are hosted a very special free preview for our MilkTea audiences at the Vue Piccadilly on the 3 April at 19:00. You can enjoy highlights from the event here!

As part of our screening, thanks to our friends BESEA Poets, we also hosted a performance by British Filipina poet, Kerrica Kendall. Her work has been featured in the Young Barbican Poets programme & she is also part of the Bush Theatre Young Company. We also commissioned Filipina writer, Jopie Sanchez on a introduction to Filipino Exploitation Movies which you can enjoy here.

Thanks to the delectable Pinoy restaurant Kasa & Kin, we had gift vouchers to offer to our audience on the night.
