Uncluttered. Uncomplicated. Unexpected.

This is Perfect Days, the latest film by Wim Wenders, a disarming portrait of what we all seek - contentment. Nominated for Best International Feature and showcasing an outstanding and beguiling leading performance by Koji Yakusho as Hirayama the toilet cleaner, Perfect Days is the perfect film to lead us into 2024 as we all ponder what will bring us peace in our lives.

Complementing the film, hosted a post-screening introduction to Haiku writing, led by Japanese poet, Erica Hesketh, courtesy of BESEA Poets collective founded by Christy Ku.

In true MilkTea style, there were some sweets treats and more at this very special presentation.

Our special preview was hosted at Vue Piccadilly on 22 February.

You can see highlights from our special preview & haiku workshop here.
